L’Oréal Paris Halted Sunday’s Traffic On the Seine For Its Annual Show

The city of Paris had this past Sunday witnessed a truly magnificent spectacle. The famous French beauty brand L’Oréal Paris hosted a beauty/fashion show in the midst of Parisian fashion week, however, the show had a quite unusual twist.

The show took place in front of the Paris’ Quai D’Orsay museum but not on the city grounds. The custom designed catwalk was implanted on the river Seine so that it could stay up float and offer a view to everyone who could fit the river’s banks.

The show completely disrupted the boat traffic and even stopped the pedestrian one in front of the museum for about half an hour. The catwalk was truly star-studded as many famous ambassadors of the brand like actresses Eva Longoria or Elle Fanning, models Liya Kebede, Soo Joo Park or the brand’s latest face Duckie Thot marched for the show.

The looks for the show consisted of several designer contributions from brands like Balmain, Miu Miu, Off-White, Isabel Marant, Giambattista Valli to Elie Saab and were supposed to represent the broadness and variety of Fashion Week.

The makeup looks were created by the team of Val Garland and Stéphane Lancien who showcased more than 70 beauty and hair looks.

The vibe of the show was just unforgettable and whoever got to witness the whole parade would without a doubt agree with us.
