Following the footsteps of her famous supermodel mom Cindy Crawford, Kaia is slowly but surely conquering the industry and making name for herself. The latest ‘catch’ this young model landed is a YSL Beauté global partnership. YSL has chosen Kaia as the new brand ambassador for its luxurious make-up and beauty range.
The brand took to Instagram to tease its followers and later on reveal the exciting the news about the newly established partnership.
Kaia’s first campaign for the brand should launch at the beginning of this upcoming January. The campaign is according to the brand’s reps being shot by acclaimed fashion photographer David Sims and for the make-up direction led by YSL Beauté global beauty director Tom Pecheux.
Neither the brand or Kaia could contain their excitement about the mutual partnerships and both spoke up and shared their thoughts with VOGUE magazine.
“To be the new face of YSL Beauté is an opportunity to write a new story full of fun, colour and make-up. I love the DNA of a brand that is so subversive while being so luxurious and cool.”
Similarly, the brand is extremely delighted to work with Kaia, especially the international general manager Stephan Bezy.
“Kaia is the perfect embodiment of her generation’s desire for authenticity and edginess, as a muse and ambassador she will convey these values which entirely resonate with what YSL Beauté stands for.”
For now, there is nothing else we can do but wait until the first official shots of the campaign are released. Judging by the preview the brand had released there is defo a lot to look forward to.
