Heavenly Singers Lana Del Rey and Jared Leto Are the New Faces of Gucci Guilty Fragrance Campaign

Since this past year’s Met Gala when both singer Lana Del Rey and 30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto dressed in couture by the famous Italian fashion house Gucci, the industry whispers have begun to swirl about a possible collaboration between the two and Gucci.

Now we know that the rumours could not have been more right. Gucci took to Instagram to officially announce the exciting news about Lana and Jared becoming the new faces of its popular fragrance Gucci Guilty, division Pour Femme and division Pour Homme. According to the announcement, the two megastars will star in a new campaign for the perfume named Forever Guilty.

The campaign will be shot and directed by British fashion photographer Glen Luchford who already collaborated with Gucci on numerous previous fashion and beauty campaigns. The release date is set for January of next year and should not only feature print and film campaign but also a release of a brand new design for the perfume bottle.

The campaign shoot is arranged to take a place at the Los Angeles’ famous Hollywood Forever Cemetery that already served as the main inspiration for Gucci’s previous collections such as the SS 17 one.

The official campaign announcement was preceded by a celebratory party organized at no other place than the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles this past Friday. The honourable guests and stars of the Gucci Guilty fragrance were both present and happily posed alongside the brand’s creative director Alessandro Michele who masterminded the whole project.

Some other prominent A-listers attended the event such as the brand ambassador Courtney Love who will also make a small cameo in the upcoming fragrance campaign. Throughout the whole evening, Courtney documented the event’s progress to Gucci’s Instagram stories.

Such a prominent collaboration will undoubtedly bring a breath of fresh air to the perfume’s already well-established name. Lana and Jared seem like a perfect fit for the campaign and we are extremely impatient to finally get to see the debut of the masterpiece itself.
