Ariana Grande Might Have Just Dropped the Most Iconic Music Video of All Times

Honestly, we are for once completely speechless. A couple of hours ago, Ariana Grande released the official long-awaited music video for her catchy single ‘thank u, next’. Not gonna lie, we were already quite hyped after watching a pre-release teaser and behind the scenes sneak peek but the actual music video completely exceeded any of our expectations.

Ariana had been prior to the video release teasing her fans on Instagram by posting numerous pictures and photos from the video making. From what we figured and trust us it took us some time to investigate, the video was inspired by some of the most iconic millennial chick flicks, namely the movie Mean Girls.

But it would not have been Ariana if she did not take the movie inspo to a completely new level. Together with the creative lead of Hannah Lux Davis, a prominent music video director, Ariana brings us a 5-minute long mash of the ultimate millennial romcoms; Mean Girls, Legally Blonde, 13 Going on 30 and Bring It On.

Not only the video authentically reenacted the movie scenes to a point where we have begun to question whether the music video itself is not better than the actual movies but Ariana brought to the video the original actors who played in the movies, including Jonathan Bennett who reprised his role of Aaron Samuels (with his hair still sexily pushed back) from the movie Mean Girls.

The cherry on top of it all that left us screaming and speechless at the same time was a cameo of the momager Kris Jenner.

If you have not seen the video yet, you need to watch for yourself ASAP. We cannot say anything less rather than the video is just simply ICONIC (*fingers crossed* the best music video of 2k18).
