Universal Studios Are Revamping Their Orlando Theme Park

Disney should better watch out for the upcoming upgrade of Universal Studios’ theme park in Orlando. The company had just announced a planned expansion of its Florida-based park to addition that will be called Epic Universe.

The Epic Universe park will be built as a separate addition to the already existing Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay theme parks and water park. The new park will take up about 750 acres worth of land located not too far from the existing parks and other Universal attractions.

According to a few reports, the theme of the park should incorporate sights of existing Universal properties such as for instance attractions inspired by How to Train Your Dragon franchise and the Fantastic Beasts movie.

The park will apart from theme attractions contain hotels, multiple restaurants and shop so that the visitor can enjoy a full theme park experience without having to worry about transportation to accommodation or for refreshments.

For now, it has not been determined yet when will the new theme park open its doors to its first visitors, however, knowing how fast Universal managed to execute the construction of Universal’s Hagrid’s Magical Creature Motorbike Adventure, we should not wait too long before an official date is set.
