Yerry Mina, the Colombian center-back has been transferred from Brazilian Palmeiras to FC Barcelona, and we’ve got a feeling he’s going to feel really good at his new club.
The 23-year-old talented player revealed that he wasn’t only welcomed by the fans but also by Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
In his press conference, Mina said: “I’m extremely satisfied to be here and fulfill my dreams. I worked and struggled to chase this, always with the feet on the floor and the eyes staring at the sky, trying always to do my bit, learning and helping and now I hope to do it with this club, the best in the world. I want to make history here with my teammates, the directors, the president, with all the employees of Barcelona and I hope to succeed here.”
He also had some admiring words on Messi’s address. “He’s the best in the world to me, the first impression I had of him is that he’s very humble, I was on the bench and both Messi and Luis Suarez approached to me, that was special to me, all my respect to him.”
We believe that Mina will be a success to the club and to himself. Enjoy your stay and have a great season!
