Zac Posen: the Highly Anticipated Rising Designer Star of the 2000s

The one thing none of our closets (or at least wishlists) should be missing is a structured gown or cocktail dress designed by none other than the master of glam Zac Posen. This New-York based designer is the ultimate guru in designing of atypically cut gowns and dresses. His signature designs really quickly became the runway “hot-stuff” of almost all the famous fashion weeks from New York, Milan, London to Paris.

Zac broke into the fashion industry at a really young age during his studies at prestigious Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design in London. Right before graduating, Zac became the number one on the watchlist of emerging designers (while breaking the internet) after the debut of his burgundy glittery gown designed specifically for the supermodel Naomi Campbell.

After graduating, Zac launched his first highly anticipated collection in 2002 however to his surprise the critics were not as impressed. The collection still got a lot of positive buzz from famous socialites who absolutely fell in love with Zac’s structural designs. Today, the brand Zac Posen gains an incredible support among the customers as well as critics from the fashion industry.
