Rafael Nadal Broke His Own Record By Winning His 11th Title

Thirteen years ago, Rafa Nadal won his first Monte Carlo title and since then, he was training hard to win more and more. Yesterday he broke his own record of ten titles by winning his eleventh one.

This year’s whole tournament was really great for him. He wanted to play his own game and win and that’s exactly what happened.

The quarter-finals and semi-finals were easy for Nadal. I’m not saying that his opponents were not good. All I’m saying is that it’s really really hard to win against him. That’s because of his hard work, talent and progress he achieved after all those years.

In the finals, what seems to be a hard match ended up being an absolute win for Rafa. In the end, the score was 6-3 6-2 for the world’s number one.

Kei Nishikori couldn’t win the first place, but the second one is also a huge win!

“I was kind of out of gas, especially in the second set. How he plays… He makes every shot. He makes it tough. I think he was also playing great tennis. It was not easy to maintain my level until the end today,” Kei Nishikori said after losing in the finals.

A huge congratulations to Rafael Nadal! We believe in you and we are more than sure that you’re going to break more of your records.
