There are many car manufacturers that invest in the off-road territory but only lately, the luxury brands joined the SUV wave. First, it was Lamborghini and their SSUV Urus that amazed the world, then Bentley’s Bentayga V8 and now it’s Rolls-Royce’s turn.
Yesterday, the company debuted their first SUV named after the largest diamond discovered, Cullinan. The car is a successful combination of luxury and beauty. The design of the car is made so it will do what an SUV should be able to do but also to be impossible to overlook it.
The first thing that is visible on the Cullinan is the fact that it’s HUGE. By huge, I mean really really huge. It stands six feet off the ground and it weights an unbelievable 5,864 pounds.
The interior offers a new and smaller steering wheel, heads-up display and all the technology that’s needed in Cullinan: night vision, daytime and nighttime wildlife and pedestrian warning, an alertness assistant, a four-camera parking system with panoramic view, all-around visibility, helicopter view, active cruise control, crash-avoidance systems, Wi-Fi and the entertainment systems. The GPS is a matter of course.
The Cullinan comes with a 6.75 liter, twin-turbo V12 engine that offers 563 horsepower. Rolls-Royce’s phenomenal Phantom uses the same engine. The top speed is set to be 155mph (249km/h).
This new Rolls-Royce’s masterpiece is highly-anticipated and the result will be worth it. The price for this beauty will be $325,000 which is worth all the things it offers. Deliveries will begin early next year.
