The iconic Japanese label Comme des Garçons had just launched yet another branch of its line, this time under the label CDG. The CEO of the brand Adran Joffe shared this exciting news in an exclusive with the VOGUE magazine. The CDG label will then follow in the footsteps of the brand’s popular Haute Couture or related labels like Play.
According to the founder of the brand Rei Kawakubo, the CDG collection brings out Comme des Garçons’most iconic designs. The collection will, therefore, debut some of the brand’s classics like T-Shirts, bombers or sneakers with the brand’s label and logo.
The CDG merch will first drop and will be sold through the Dover Street Market Japan and afterward, it will be available on the first official Kawakubo website which should launch in mid-July. Judging by the success of its previous labels, the first CDG collection will be definitely sold out within minutes!
