Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing just adores experimenting with colors, rich materials, and embellishments. His sense for designing of timeless pieces that never go out of style is clearly present in the latest eveningwear collection that was recently introduced by the brand. On top of preparing the soon-to-be-debuted Fall 2018 collection, Olivier showcased 44 piece capsule of ready-to-wear evening wear.
The collection named after Balmain’s first atelier premises, 44 François Premier, bears 44 stunning ready-to-wear gowns in vivid colors strongly inspired by vibes of 80’s and 90’s. According to Olivier, this collection is an experiment of a revival of fashion step-back to trends of the past.
BIENVENUE À PARIS Introducing the new #LE44FRANCOISPREMIER collection. “Right now, I’m really, really into bringing back the tradition of the house more than ever. Since everyone is wondering about the future of fashion, I think it’s good to step back and remember where we come from without appearing conservative—what made all the strong Paris houses shine around the world.” @olivier_rousteing
Not sure about you, but we need to get our hands on the pieces asap since there is no doubt that this collection will be a hit of all the upcoming red carpets.
