Queen of Extravaganza Vivienne Westwood is Taking Over Burberry

Well, to be perfectly honest the British punk femme fatale is not entirely taking over the brand. However, Vivienne will be definitely stealing all the attention with her latest announced collab collection that she will uniquely design for Burberry.

The responsible persona for the whole collab is the new creative chief officer for Burberry, Riccardo Tisci who has been mesmerized by Vivienne’s creativity since his early teenage years. Tisci even claims that only thanks to and through Vivienne he found his true passion for fashion. The collaboration will definitely be extremely unique especially the combination of Burberry’s timeless elegance and Vivienne’s eccentric creations.

A unique collaboration between #Burberry and #VivienneWestwood. A limited-edition collection of reimagined styles from her legendary archive. Launching December 2018. “Vivienne Westwood was one of the first designers who made me dream to become a designer myself and when I first started at Burberry, I knew it would be the perfect opportunity to approach her to do something. She is a rebel, a punk and unrivalled in her unique representation of British style, which has inspired so many of us. I am so incredibly proud of what we will be creating together.” – #RiccardoTisci Portraits by @brett_lloyd The collaboration is in support of @coolearthaction @Burberry @RiccardoTisci17 @viviennewestwood #viviennewestwood #Andreaskronthaler

Both brands made the news official by publishing a pre-collection campaign to their IG sites. The anticipated Burberry x Westwood collection should hit the stores at the beginning of December 2018, only three months after Tisci will debut his first collection for Burberry.
