Taylor Swift Is a Chameleon! The Singer Dressed Up As First Wife Of George Harrison Pattie Boyd

If you are a Beatlemaniac or know at least basics about this most popular English band, you will remember Pattie Boyd. She was a leading international model in the 60s and a first wife of George Harrison. Also, another famous musician (Eric Clapton) fell in love with her and wrote a song “Wonderful Tonight”.  Simply, she was a definition of the muse.

In the latest Harpers Bazaar, current music icon Taylor Swift got into the skin of Pattie at the cover photo shoot and more than that, she met Pattie Boyd and they talked in the interview about the connection to music and more.

“We’re both women whose lives have been deeply influenced by songs and songwriting,” Swift told Boyd. “I stand on one side of it, and you on the other.”

Pattie Boyd opened up about her experiences with the musical legends, including the first time she experiences Beatlemania, which Swift described as her “worst nightmare.”

“I found it absolutely terrifying. I got to see the Beatles play at a theater in London, and George told me that I should leave with my friends before the last number,” she explained. “So before the last song, we got up from our seats and walked toward the nearest exit door, and there were these girls behind me. They followed us out, and they were kicking me and pulling my hair and pushing us all the way down this long passageway.”

Swift also found the story behind Clapton’s track “Wonderful Tonight” “incredible” and shared few pictures of the photo shoot on her Instagram.

“You have to remember that nothing remains the same” – Pattie Boyd.

“When I finished reading Pattie Boyd’s incredible memoir Wonderful Tonight, I felt inspired and intrigued. I wanted to ask her about her life, sit down and talk about all things 1960’s London, Beatlemania, and how it felt to be on the other side of songwriting: the side of the muse. So that’s what we did, and she is now my forever lady crush. Thank you @harpersbazaarus for this opportunity and @alexilubomirski for taking these photos!!And of course Pattie .”
