LEGO Launches A New Car Composed Of More Than 3,500 Pieces

When LEGO and Bugatti Automobiles SAS teamed up, something wonderful must obviously happen. This time they decided to create a new addition for the LEGO Technic collection and the collectors are psyched!

You can now put together a Bugatti Chiron in a 1:8 scale. The model of the car brings together the iconic design of the French car brand and LEGO Technic elements, with a reinvented version of the latest avant-garde sports car. Molsheim.

The LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron has been introduced by Niels B. Christiansen, CEO of LEGO Group, and the president of Bugatti, Stephan Winkelmann;  at LEGO House, the company’s headquarters in Billund.

“I am very excited about this new model,” said Niels B. Christiansen. “Our LEGO designers have done an incredible job capturing the details of this iconic Bugatti design. It is proof that with LEGO bricks you can build everything you imagine. I am impressed by the precision and refinement with which our supercar has been translated into the LEGO world and I am sure that fans of the LEGO and Bugatti bricks will love this product.”

The 1: 8 scale replica of the LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron model is more than 14 cm high, 56 cm long and 25 cm wide and has 3,599 pieces. It is full of details such as aerodynamic bodywork with an active rear spoiler, spoke rims with low profile tires, detailed cabin with mobile paddle lever change and detailed motor W16 with mobile pistons.

It is now available in all LEGO stores and on its website. As of August 1, 2018, it can also be purchased at the rest of the usual points of sale.
