After almost two decades since the legendary singer Lauryn Hill debuted her first studio album, she is making a giant comeback but not only behind the mic but also behind the camera. In celebration of the anniversary of her debut album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, Lauryn has organized several pop-up concerts in US while preparing her official world tour.
On top of it all, the iconic singer managed to land an exclusive campaign with Pennsylvania based brand Woolrich known for designing stylish outdoor wear staple pieces.
The campaign according to the brand’s reps showcases true American Soul similarly as the brand has been since its founding in 1830. Therefore, Lauryn’s image of a true American artist seemed to the brand as a great pick for this specific campaign.
“American Soul Since 1830, the campaign shines a spotlight on artists whose creative ingenuity is at the very heart of American culture.”
The campaign and respective video clips were shot and filmed by British photographer Jack Davidson. The shooting was set into the NYC neighborhoods of the famous Apollo Theater and Harlem. Lauryn is in the shoot sporting several items from the American Soul Fall Winter 18 collection on which she also collaborated and assisted with her creative input.
The brand is incredibly honored to land such an iconic artist as Lauryn and the mutual collab is already without a doubt off to a great success.
