We’ve got great news for everyone who’s got a passion for yachts! Tankoa Yachts, an Italian manufacturer of huge and luxurious superyachts has announced an official launch of their most recent superyacht called Solo. It will be delivered to the owner in November and before that, Solo will make its debut at the Monaco Yacht Show in September.
A lot of people will visit Monaco just to see this 72 meters superyacht styled by a Florence-based superyacht designer, Francesco Paszowski, who is known for styling the superyachts for brands like Baglietto, Heesen, ISA, and many others.
Solo looks a bit like its predecessor from 2015, Suerte, but believe me when I say that it’s different. Not many changes were done when it comes to the visual part of the superyacht. Instead of the central staircase, the transom area has been modified with a side staircase and the hull has been fitted with longer skegs.
Of course, things like a swimming pool, an owners’ deck, cabins for 12 guests, a VIP suite won’t be missing. The Jacuzzi, bar, saloon or even a beach club are on the superyacht to keep the guests happy.
When it comes to power, the Solo is provided with a pair of 2,480 HP Caterpillar diesel engines just like its predecessor Suerte. Thanks to the changes the brand has made, Solo will be able to achieve a maximum speed of around 17.5 knots. The 162,000-litre fuel capacity makes sure the owner will enjoy the time of cruising for approximately 6,000 nautical miles, which is a lot.
