Chanel Brings Back the Summer Blues in a Series of Past Holiday Campaigns

Chanel has in recent weeks majorly reminisced over some of its past holiday campaigns. The brand’s Instagram feed has turned into a memory capsule of old but at the same time iconic campaign shoots, the brand featured in its past holiday campaigns.

All the pictures were exclusively taken over the years by the one and only mastermind and lead designer of the brand, Karl Lagerfeld. Despite being known for being a renewed fashion designer, Karl also dugs into the fashion photography once in a while when he feels inspired enough. The Chanel’s latest IG feed is a clear depiction of how well can the eye of the designer capture the essence of a collection.

The series of posts of the holiday campaign shoots showcases most of the Chanel Cruise campaigns that the brand annually designs. The time frame of the posted throwback campaign pics varies from early 90’s up to the year 2012.

We took the initiative to organize them for you in a time order that best depicts the evolving of Chanel holiday collections.

The feed also includes some of the newer holiday campaigns such as the 2003 campaign featuring model Frankie Rayder or the latest 2012 Antibes capsule starring the supermodel Joan Smalls.

With summer 18′ being almost over, Chanel truly brings back the old summer blues and last-minute holiday-fashion inspiration
